Almost a year ago I wrote a post on the best Free People dupes on Amazon. Let me tell you, I already owned a few of the pieces but after doing a lot of research from influencers I’ve trusted over the years, I ended up buying several more and ended up being quite happy with them. However, it seems like Amazon sellers are adding more and more Free People dupes at a fraction of the cost that look exactly the same as the originals (I check to make sure the seller includes their own photos in their listing and not just using Free Peoples campaigns). I figured with the holidays coming up, it was a good time to round up the newest best sellers and even better dupes you’ll want to add to your wish list!
Free People is a clothing company that originally specialized in the boho style. Free People clothes are at a high price point but offer many unique pieces. Free People has become so popular that they’ve expanded into a sportier off shoot called FP Movement which now has their own stores across the United States and beyond. Like Free People, FP Movement offers high quality, unique pieces that come with a high price tag. Their sporty yet comfy, oversized styles have become a favorite look of many!

The Best Free People Dupes:
- Blue and White Knit Oversized Cardigan-This cardigan is number 1 on my wishlist. It’s a good deal at only $43 and comes in lots of different color variations. The original is sold out in this color and is $200! I would bet sizing up would be necessary to get the right look.
- Square Neck Lettuce Trim Cami-My daughter has 4 of these tops. 2 being Free People and 2 being Amazon. They are identical but the one on Amazon is 1/2 the price! This top runs tight and comes in tons of colors. It washes well.
- Open Back Workout Top-I have not purchased this yet but according to the reviews, the only difference between this top and the FP My Time original is that the FP Movement logo is displayed on the bottom of the opening on the back. Everyone at my daughter’s private school is wearing this particular top-moms and daughters. It is a long sleeve workout top that looks great with a sports bra or cami underneath.
- Button Down Fleece Pullover-This pullover comes in TONS of color combos that are so unique. It gets great reviews and looks identical to the original. Many mentioned it runs small so I would size up. It’s average rating is 4 stars.
- Slouchy Scoop Neck Oversized Sweater-This sweater is so good and comes in many colors.
- Leggings-These are a very close dupe of the Good Karma leggings. I own them and they are one of my favorites. I will say that they run small. However, they do come in an XL. I am about to order more colors.
- Oversized Puffer Vest-I LOVE this vest and will be ordering it ASAP. I own the Pippa Packable Puffer Vest dupe and can’t get over how perfect it is and one of my favorite fashion finds of the year. I think this one will be the same as the original. It comes in many colors and the reviews are excellent.
- Sports Bra-This sports bra matches the leggings (#6) and is an exact dupe of the Good Karma sports bra.
- 3 Pack Ribbed Bralettes-I own these bralettes and love them. They work great underneath the Hot Shot Onesie and come in TONS of color combos.
- Jumpsuit-This is not something I will purchase but a very trusted influencer tried both the Amazon version and the Free People version and can attest it’s almost identical. It comes in many different colors and looked great on her.
- Fleece Button Down Jacket-I love this and according to 1 reviewer, it is a great dupe for the FP Hit the Slopes Jacket. Her advice was to size up. The Amazon version was not as oversized as the FP version. This jacket comes in several color combos as well.
- Quilted Crossbody Bag-I have compared the dimensions of the FP Quilted Carryall Bag and the Amazon version and the only difference is the depth. The original is 6.5 inches in depth and the Amazon dupe is 4.3. For $26 compared to $68 I’d rather buy the dupe since this bag is quite trendy. It gets great reviews and comes in tons of colors!
- Pull Over Puffer Jacket-This piece is another piece bought by a trusted influencer. She bought many different colors and modeled them all. They all were awesome. It looks exactly like the original Pippa Packable Pullover and fits like a typical FP Movement would fit.
- Lace Layering Top-I love layering these tops. They come in so handy with Free People tops since they tend to be revealing under the arms and low cut in the chest. This Amazon version comes in several colors, looks exactly like the Free People version and is only $19 compared to FP’s Lady Lux Layering Top at $40.
I still stand firm that the Hot Shot Onesie can not be duped properly. I now own 4 of the original onesies and have bought 3 Amazon versions. In my opinion there is very little comparison and the original is worth the price. In fact, I wore mine all summer and am working on a post on how to wear them in the winter as well! I will also say the Free People Adella Bralette doesn’t work for me, I have 2. The Adella dupes are 10x better, with padding and half the price.

SHOP THE DUPES:
I will admit that I have bought A LOT of Free People dupes over the years and often ended up buying the real thing because the dupe just wasn’t cutting it. I have been noticing that within the last year, the Amazon version of many Free People/FP Movement items have improved hugely and many times, the Amazon version is just as good as the FP version at more than 1/2 the cost. With 5-star reviews, going the budget-friendly route is a great way to snag some awesome clothes for less. Not to mention Prime free shipping!
Free People and FP Movement is probably my favorite brand and I’m happy to share the best dupes I come across and also be transparent when the originals are better than the dupes and worth the money. I hope you’ve enjoyed this post! I’ll be back later for warmer weather dupes!

P.S. I discovered THIS embroidered dolman jacket after I had put this post together. I have wanted this jacket since last winter and it is now sold out. Plus it was $200. I will circle back and let you know if the dupe is any good!
