Holiday parties are around the corner and it can be really hard to know what is appropriate to wear. When the invite implies dressy, cocktail wear I find that incredibly hard to determine what is enough and what is too much. I’ve pulled together pieces from Amazon that are affordable and ship quickly. I’ve also scoured social media to find several outfit idea photos to help you pull together a holiday party outfit you can feel good about!
From Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest it seems that silver sequins are all the rage this year. I’ve found several skirts that fit that bill and I love that I’m also seeing big, chunky sweaters on top of form fitting, sequined skirts. This makes for not only a classy silhouette but a more comfortable one as well. I’m also seeing satin skirts as well as pleated skirts worn with fancy, rhinestone or fabric bow heels and more cozy sweaters on top. Monochromatic pieces also seem prevalent as well as black, opaque tights or patterned tights paired with mini skirts. I love mixing colors of the same shade in one outfit and I love the added warmth and coverage opaque tights provide.
I have linked all separates because I feel that a skirt and top are more universal than a dress. Plus, buying a top and bottom allows you to enjoy the top for more casual occasions and gives you the ability to mix and match pieces if you have multiple parties to dress for.
