Christmas Decor 2025

This year’s Christmas decor took quite a vintage turn. All year I have been visiting thrift shops and antique stores. There’s only so much Homegoods I could make unique! Over the year I’ve found some really great treasures and at Christmas time I have quite a few treasures that were my grandmother’s. There is much comfort in cherishing and displaying items from your past in a new and personal way.

I don’t typically share my Christmas decor because it doesn’t get as much thought as my Halloween decor does but this year felt like it was worthy of a post. I hope you enjoy it!

I enjoy painting and found a painting from Lindsay Letters (Flocks by Night) that I tried to recreate. Her painting is by far better than my imitation but I do like how mine turned out. I also bought a Norfolk Pine that I’m determined to keep healthy all year around. My grandmothers light up Christmas tree is always a must as well.

My German smoker, my favorite candle holder along with a few vintage hand painted wooden dolls are unexpected and a bit quirky on my mother’s beautiful blue and white platter.

Along with the vintage angels pictured below, these funny little elves are a staple every year. I remember being interested in them as a child and am so lucky they are now mine.

Funny enough, I found this vintage cat garland on Temu! I took a strand of clear C-9 lights and painted the green, gold. I added a string of vintage bells to top it off.

Vintage angel ornaments that belonged to my grandmother are always a joy to to display each year. They are fitting in front of my favorite photo of my late beloved dog, Winston.

We enjoyed two trees this year and I decorated this tree with nostalgic ceramic lights. I meant to decorate it more but I kind of like the lights being the star of the tree!

You can find the Sound of Music Print HERE. Sound of Music is our special family tradition every Christmas night.
