My Favorite Things (on Amazon) pt. 1

Sharing is caring!

I’m starting a new series where I share my favorite purchases on Amazon. I’m including absolutely everything from clothing to household products. I’m only including the purchases that I 100% would buy and probably have bought more than once. These picks are what I would tell a best friend-sharing is caring! At the risk of revealing just how much Amazon is a problem for my bank account, I’m going to post a new “My Favorite Things” once or twice a month. Hope you enjoy and I’d love you to share your favorite purchases in the comments!

Lavender Washable Rug-I bought this super affordable rug for our entry way. It has an extremely low pile and can be thrown in the wash. It comes in a bunch of different sizes and the color and pattern selections are absolutely gorgeous. I think this rug looks way more expensive than it is. I especially love how it lays flat despite it being in a very high traffic area. I will say, I checked the rugs in stock and prices vary as well as supply. There are still many options and I recommend saving to your list if the style and size you need is out of stock. My rug is a 5×3 and great for my entry. I also have a 2×3 in my utility room.

Free People Dupe Ivory Oversized Vest-I have worn this vest countless times and love how much it adds to a simple leggings and t-shirt outfit. It’s lightweight and great for fall and winter but because it’s on the thinner side, I’ve worn it under a coat. It is very similar to Free People’s Pippa Packable Puffer and comes in several colors. I really love the light green and lavender. It is more cropped yet still oversized. I ordered my regular size.

4 in 1 Milk Frother-My daughters and I went to Dutch Bros. and discovered a drink called the Golden Eagle. We really liked it and they were asking to get one often and I was craving them all the time. Like all coffee drinks, this one isn’t that healthy and so expensive so I decided to get a milk frother and see if we could recreate the drink. This milk frother makes cold foam, hot foam and hot chocolate! It’s easy to use and easy clean. We use whole milk with cinnamon, vanilla, caramel and brown sugar to recreate the Golden Eagle but you can also froth almond milk. We love this frother so much I bought one for my mother and she loves it as well. If you’re trying to curb expensive coffee drinks, I highly recommend getting this frother.

280ml Glass Diffuser-This is a diffuser similar to the famous Aria diffuser from Young Living. I always wanted that diffuser but wasn’t willing to spend over $300 for it. I found this diffuser on Amazon for around $40 and decided it was worth a try. I’ve had it since last spring and love it. It gives off a lot of mist and runs for quite a bit longer than my usual diffusers. I do find the on/off button and light function button is difficult. You must push it just right for it to turn on but at this price, so far the buttons are not a problem. I love this diffuser for how much it diffuses, how it looks and it’s price!

Ceramic Kitchen Utensil Holder-This utensil holder looks exactly like my West Elm dishes. I love the texture it brings and the variation of cream colors. It is solid and awesome quality. It was a really nice upgrade for my kitchen counter and definitely worth a share.

2 Pack Glass Foaming Soap Dispensers-I always make my own hand soap and upgrading my cheap foam dispensers to these glass foaming soap dispensers was quite a step up. These dispensers work great and hold quite a bit more soap (14 oz.) than the typical soap dispensers. I like the white rubber at the bottom for an easy grip. The brushed silver looks great by the sink. Plus, they come with an optional cute label. If you aren’t making your own hand soap check out my Foaming Hand Soap recipe. You’ll save so much money and come out with a better, scent tailored hand soap than store bought!

8-Pack Solar Garden Lights-I adore these lights. They work so well and even come on when it’s been cloudy all day. They look so pretty in the wind. The price is really great for an 8-pack. We keep ours out all year and have had them since May. All 8 are still going strong. In fact, I might get another 8 pack to add to what we have! Tucking them in tall grass and/or bushes is the best way to display these.

Essie Gel Couture Top Coat and Nail Color-I have a hard time keeping nail polish on my nails for more than a couple of days. I also dislike getting gel nails because of how hard it is to remove them, not to mention the price. The Gel Couture system is simply nail polish. You apply it as you would a normal nail color and top coat. No light needed. You remove it with polish remover-no soaking involved. What makes this product so special is that I can get at least 7 days out of a manicure if not 2 weeks. Plus, when you apply it, it looks like gel nails. It smooths out any ridges and is so shiny and perfect. I can’t say enough. I have over 4 colors and swear by the top coat. I will say, my favorite color is the red I’ve listed. It does seem to bleed on my natural nail leaving them yellow so I always were a clear coat or base coat under the nail color to protect my nails. Not to mention-this is the most affordable gel manicure you’ll find!

There you have it! The first installment of my favorite things on Amazon! Stay tuned for my next installment!

xx, Jenni
