Amazon Hits & Misses Part 2

Amazon Hits & Misses part 2

As promised, I’ve got 6 more Amazon hits and 6 more misses!  In case you missed part 1 you can find it HERE.

This lace cami is the softest, most delicate top.  It comes in several colors and is runs a bit large.  I’m in a large but medium would have been the better choice.  I would recommend this top and plan to get other colors.  They are so nice for a hot summer but also would look great under a blazer.  My joggers are the softest ever and you can find them HERE.  My hat is also Amazon and is a staple for summer.  Plus it fits comfortably!  I think it jazzes up in and every outfit!

I love this sweater duster.  It lays very nicely and the pockets give it something extra!  It’s true to size-I’m wearing a medium. It also comes in many colors including a heather gray which I might have to get next!  I find dusters that are this long look best with heals.  They can easily make you look frumpy!

I’m wearing THIS top which is a huge HIT and I just tied it instead of tucking it in.

This is seriously one of the cutest tops and it’s only $13!  I’m wearing a large and it fits just a bit small.

My shoes are also Amazon and are comfortable!  They are true to size and come in a few colors.  They are faux suede.

I love the print on this dress so much.  It does not get any more comfortable then this and could definitely double as a swimsuit coverup!  I’m wearing a large and would say it fits true to size.  I’m a 36C and have no issues with it being tight in the bust but several reviews mentioned it was too tight on the top.  It comes in tons of patterns as well!

This dress really straddles the line between a hit and miss.  First off, I found it for $13 which is why I’m giving it a hit but it has gone up in price which usually means it’s popular.  It looks cute but as I’m going through the pics of this dress, it has a tendency to be quite shapeless.  Maybe if it were belted?  Also, the quality isn’t great.  I have a hole under my arm and I’ve worn it once.  If you’re looking for something quick, cute and cheap though, this might be it.  It also comes in red which I would recommend over the navy.

I love this skirt except for one thing-it runs small.  It’s doable but I’m in a large and would love if it came in an XL.  It’s a bit uncomfortable around my waist but I really hate tight cloths and it’s not a deal breaker for me.  The print on this dress is so good and it comes in several others as well.  The fabric has a really nice flowy weight!

  1. These earrings looked so cheap because the beading turned out to be iridescent.
  2. This top is a thick knit and the way the wording is printed looks strange.
  3. I would say this isn’t a total no-go but it is somewhat boxy and runs a bit small.  The fabric is a bit too thick.
  4. This top was very baggy in the stomach as well as under the arms.
  5. This kimono is too gauzy and see-through.
  6. I so wanted this top to work but it gaped under the arms and the “silk” was very stiff.

Hope you’ve enjoyed my Amazon hits and misses!  This will probably be it for me this summer but you can expect another round early fall!

xx, Jenni
